About the Course: Level 6 Diploma is a qualification for HSE professionals wishing to enhance their careers. Up on completion of this course, the
candidates are eligible to apply for the Graduate membership from Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (GradIOSH).

Syllabus: It consists of Three units. They are:
Unit1: Principles of Health & Safety Management

• UNIT 1A – Fundamentals of Health and Safety Management
• UNIT 1B – Applied Health and Safety Management

Unit2: Safeguarding people’s health in the workplace

• UNIT 2A – Occupational Health
• UNIT 2B – Risks to Health at Work

Unit3: Promoting a positive Health & Safety Culture in the workplace

• UNIT 3A – Developing a Positive Health and Safety Culture
• UNIT 3B – Developing the Business Case for Health and Safety

Examination: Unit1 – 3 hours written examination
Unit2- 2.5 hours written examination and a workplace based Assignment
Unit3- Workplace based assignment
